Woolley's is a name locals have come to think of when they think seafood since the fishmarket opened in 1960 by John A. Woolley. By 1968, 10 year old John D. Woolley was working the fishmarket right along side of his father. By 1978, young John had grown up enough to take over the family business. Over the years, more and more people started asking about how to best prepare the wonderful selection of fresh seafood in the market. John finally took the step to provide fresh cooked seafood right from his own market when he opened Woolley's Seafood House in 2013. A direct extension of the Fishmarket, the Seafood House offers fresh, local Jersey fish, prepared to perfection.
